April 30th Payment

Here’s a change that will affect some tax payers. If you made an April 30th payment, your tax payment was withdrawn later than originally planned. This is what the Iowa Department of revenue said:

"Due to technical difficulties, taxpayers who scheduled their Iowa tax payment to be electronically withdrawn from their bank account on April 30 will now see that payment withdrawn from their account on May 1.

The Department has record of the original withdrawal date requested and these payments will not be considered late. Taxpayers do not need to take any further action regarding this issue."
