Iowa Workforce Development has announced a change in how payments must be made to them.

Employers are now required to pay unemployment insurance contributions and reimbursement of charges electronically using myIowaUI.org. The department reserves the right to assess a penalty for non-compliance of the updated Iowa Administrative Code 871-22.16.

Three payment options are available:

  • eCheck - payment can be made electronically on myIowaUI. When submitting your payment by eCheck, provide this ACH Company ID# to your bank to avoid the payment being blocked by your bank.

  • Credit card - payment can be made electronically on myIowaUI.

  • ACH payment - fill out and submit an ACH Application.
